Marc Edwards and Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha were named as finalists for TIME magazine’s 2016 Person of the Year for their work in Flint, Michigan. As a result of the work that Edwards and Mona-Attisha have done, Flint has become an international news spotlight, prompting state and federal intervention and igniting a national debate on water safety.
